Laird Hamilton and Susan Casey on Charlie Rose – September 27, 2010

On the September 27th episode of Charlie Rose, Charlie interviewed professional surfer Laird Hamilton and journalist Susan Casey. Laird Hamilton’s most recent book is a detailing of his life and philosophy, and how that has allowed him to be at the very top of the surfing world for decades. Susan Casey’s most recent book is an examination of the ocean, and the phenomenon of “rogue waves” of 70 to 100 feet tall. Her subjects include scientists but also those who attempt to surf these waves, including Hamilton.
