Dr West’s new book is a memoir of his path through being a young man involved in the civil rights movement in Sacramento CA through being one of the nation’s leading thinkers on race matters. Mr. Fund’s new book is an examination of voter fraud in the United States.
On July 18th, one of the guests on Meet the Press was Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey. His new book is part memoir of growing up in Union City, NJ and part examination of the growing role of the Hispanic population within the United States.
On July 11th, two of the panelists on Meet the Press were authors with recent ebooks available. One is New York Times columnist and commentator David Brooks, and the other is politician professor and author Harold Ford Jr.
On the July 4th edition of Face the Nation, a panel was convened to discuss the politics of the war in Afghanistan. Included on the panel was writer Anne Kornblut of The Washington Post. Her newest book is an examination of female politicians and what it will take for to one day become president of the USA.
On the June 27th episode of Fox News Sunday, former Governor of Arkansas, presidential candidate and talk show host Mike Huckabee appeared to discuss the political climate leading in to this year’s mid-term elections. His most recent book is a collection of Christmas stories that emphasize simplifying the season.
On June 20th, one of the panelists on Meet the Press was former president of Shell Oil John Hofmeister. His newest book is an exploration about why the general public has an antipathy towards oil companies and ways the companies and public could change that with investments in environmental protection and alternative energy.
