On the June 17th edition of The View, writer Joanna Philbin was interviewed. Her debut novel was recently published with a sequel out this fall. Philbin is the daughter of Regis and Joy Philbin and the novel is about a world she knows well, growing up a child of privilege and celebrity. She has worked as a television writer for much of her career, and this novel in part stemmed from the 2007 writer strike.
